Gerald,

I would say if you are planning on upgrading anyway, you
have nothing to lose as the demo of 13 will work whether you
buy or not. The other thing you could try is uninstall all
JAWS programs and start from scratch or call FS tech support
on Tuesday

Okay, so rolling back my NVIDIA drivers to the previous
version didn't
resolve the JAWS video intercept problem. And performing a
repair of JAWS 9
didn't work either. So here's my next dumb question. I
already have JAWS
8, 9 (my default version) and 10 (demo version) installed on
my computer,
and all of them seem to be broken. Suppose I downloaded and
installed JAWS
13 from scratch, which is not yet installed on my computer.
Would JAWS 13
work normally, or would it be subject to the same video
intercept problem as
the other installed versions of JAWS? I was thinking that if
I installed
JAWS 13 and it worked normally in demo mode, I could upgrade
my SMA and make
JAWS 13 my new default. Of course, I would have to pay the
hefty fee for
upgrading from JAWS 9, but I probably would have upgraded at
some point in
the future, anyway. Does this sound reasonable, or am I
barking up the
wrong tree?

Gerald
