Thanks David for your response. The only problem with that is that it does lock the keyboard but one can still access the computer with the mouse. The WindowsKey+l actually locks you out and you need to use the regular login process to get back in. I probably need to live with the problem but wondered whether any one else had the problem and whether there is a fix rather than a work a round. Regards Tom Bisset

The key stroke I use is windowsKey+l. I am running jaws 13 latest build and xp service pack 3. When I envoke the WindowsKey+l it is not only locking my computer but it is also freezing my keyboard. It looks like as though jaws loses the keymap files so the keyboard does nothing and I have to do a hard reboot. It is intermittent and I haven't identify anything that would cause it to do so. Has anyone else experienced this and have you found a resolution?
