Al, Sometimes it does speak and the times it doesn't speak, I just hit down arrow. Not sure why it doesn't always speak.

This locks the computer. To unlock, I have to use the key combination alt + ctrl + delete, then I type in my passwork and hit enter and the computer unlokcs. Bear in mind, when I hit alt + ctrl + delete, the computer does not speak, for me, the cursor is where I type my password, so once that's done, it's OK. After typing the password, sometimes the computer speaks and sometimes not, I just hit down arrow or some key just to see if the computer is back in use. The only problem with that is that it does lock the keyboard but one can still access the computer with the mouse. The WindowsKey+l actually locks you out and you need to use the regular login process to get back in. I probably need to live with the problem but wondered whether any one else had the problem and whether there is a fix rather than a work a round. The key stroke I use is windowsKey+l. I am running jaws 13 latest build and xp service pack 3. When I envoke the WindowsKey+l it is not only locking my computer but it is also freezing my keyboard. It looks like as though jaws loses the keymap files so the keyboard does nothing and I have to do a hard reboot. It is intermittent and I haven't identify anything that would cause it to do so. Has anyone else experienced this and have you found a resolution?
