the only other thing I can suggest is to go in to your c drive press p fore
program files freedom scientific folder and j for jaws there you should see
jaws 12 go in t here see if you can see the settings

Hi no I don't remember what settings I was using with the jaws 12 that I
had. it is very aud though. How would I go about finding out what settings

wow XP you would think that in that operating system things would work
with out any problems I am using windows 7 also and because it's a newer
operating system, how ever we are using an older program one would tend
to think that it would hickup in windows 7. I also had it installed on
my xP laptop and it worked fine. Do you remember what settings you were
using with your previous version of jaws? I would say apply those same
settings to the latest version

well it reads it fine on my windows 7 lap top but not on my xp pc what
serttings do I need to change to solve this problum? since I have whent
in to the quick settings and lookd in there and all seems to be set
there. now i have also tryed looking in the settings senter and have not

I to have ms word 2003 as well as latest jaws 13 I just did a test
document and it read it fine

Hi all. I just installed jaws 13 and upgraded it to the newest
version. I also have ms word 2003 on my pc and now when I go and read
a.doc file jaws won't read it. it also won't read it if I type
