To me when I hear the word "richer experience", I gag. It's just a marketing
buzzword for pictures and sound. It isn't any "richer" ... doesn't provide
an extra richness of ideas and it's often used to cover up a poverty of
thinking.

I don't want to be 'targeted' or 'marketed'. All that java-in-the-fridge
spying on your food consumption and sending it to the supermarket stuff
makes me *shudder*. Send me an *idea* I can use. And plain text is good
enough. Best web page I ever read was a .txt file.

In my spare time away from programming I produce music. People in this
sphere often think that the latest hot machine buzzword synthesier sampler
tweaker knobulator from hell if purchased will make their music sound
better. But not necessarily. Stuff that's marketed in that area often uses
the words "unlimited possibilities" but what you often end up with is
decision deadlock. Most musicians know the best results appear when
struggling against limitations.

Here's the killer argument;

PLAIN TEXT IS BEST FOR REPRESENTING JAVA SOURCE CODE!!!

How can you argue against that, especially as I shouted it so loud. ;)
