Hmmm ... given your symptoms, you might have multiple issues. Let me suggest a prioritized list of next steps to try: 1. Update to latest SqueezeCenter 7.0 and SBC firmware. There have been a lot of changes recently, especially in the areas of wireless; even last week's versions may not be recent enough. Probably won't change your symptoms, but always a good thing to start with. 2. Change channel of your wireless network. Given your symptoms, you're probably in an area congested with other wireless networks. This is similar to the situation at Logitech Mountain View, where we have around 20 wireless networks present regularly. Check and see which channels are being used in your area. Most likely it's channel 6. Reconfigure your router to an unused channel and try again. This will help things, but may not solve everything. 3. Perform a factory reset of your new SB Controller. We've learned recently from these forums that some SB Controllers experience wireless range issues when they come right from the factory. That can easily be fixed performing a Factory Reset on your Controller. Go to Settings->Advanced->Factory Reset and choose Continue. Your controller will restart, and you'll have to enter your setup information again. Let me know if this helps resolve your issue. I think completing all 3 steps should solve your problem, but I'd like to know if they do not.
