Just another datapoint. When Jive & Duest are in config mode, they go into an ad-hoc network mode to talk to each other.
I had Netstumbler running on my laptop at the time and seen that they seem to pick channel 6 to talk to each other. It would be interesting to figure out how this setting was picked. I'm lucky that 6 is pretty uncongested, but my MIMO router had chosen channel 7.
