So, the wireless link is using the slim protocol only? I'd just like some clarification. A few things I have determined:
The SBC works even with the SBR turned "off". The SBR is not listed as a wireless network on the SBC menu, but when I look at the SBR information on the SBC menu, it says wireless signal strength is 99%. It lists an IP in the correct range for the router, 192.168.0.2 with a port number of 22125. But for some reason, the SBR doesn't show up in the list of "attached devices" on my (wired) router - but neither does the hard-wired SB1G in the garage. The hard-wired SB3 in the den, and the 2 SB3s in the bedrooms that use HomeLink, DO show up as "attached devices". If I take the SBC out of wireless range, then bring it back near the SBR, a lot of stuff doesn't work. I can't browse the music library or internet radio, but pause and play DO work. The volume control also works. Now, if I remove and replace the SBC battery, everything is working again. Using the SBC menu, the IP of the SBR is still the same, but it now lists port 22131 instead of 22125. -- Pale Blue Ego ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pale Blue Ego's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=110 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43581 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jive
