I can send IR commands through a screen window and nobody complains about that security hole. Dean's made it perfectly clear that if someone is interested in security then they should just get a $50 (or less) router. It's a pragmatic solution to a nearly non-existent problem. If you're concerned about it I'll mail you an old router just so that the thread can die. Ben
