As I recall, 3.6.8 was just released in the past week or so. The issue was
also present in 3.6.7 for me. In fact, it has been an issue since the spring
for my stereochemistry pages, which is why I moved to the signed applet for
them at that time. (And this was about the time Firefox invoked the new
security protocols; you and I communicated about it at the time. I will try
to trace back to when that was.) I do not use jmol.js in those files. I am not
sure what version of firefox or java I was running then. I do know that
Apple's Java 1.6 has been updated a couple of times in that time span as well.
You are correct: I am using the latest version of Java: 1.6.0_20. I am also
running the latest version of the OS 10.6.4.
Jeff posted that it does include the NT3 page, and that once it haas been run,
NT1 works as long as the browser is left open.
I tried the suggestion to Jeff below, using NT1 and it does indeed load the
structure, into the same page that has the error message on it.
