I don't say that I have never used Windows newer than 98se.  Just that
the only computer that I ever bought that came with a Windows
installation CD was 98se.
I have a Thinkpad with XP Pro as one of its dual-boot OS's, but it
came to me as a used machine, preinstalled, with not even  a Restore
partition or Restore CDs.
