Last time we did that, I got so pissed off that I unsubscribed from
announce entirely.  I *strongly* recommend against such an approach.

I didn't say it was the right thing to do for kplug. I just thought that it would be a nice feature to have, based on other things I'm involved with. Organizationally at work, we have cases where it'd be highly useful.

My apologies for admitting a feature would be nice but not qualifying it for this group. Don't get yer panties in a twist :)
