Hi,

Woukd cycle/motorcycle 'brake' or 'clutch cable adjusters' not work which are
freely available, usually M6 thread for brake cables or M8 thread for clutch
cables?

Alternatively I received extra long cable adjusters as part of a MacFarlane
Rotax twin carb throttle control kit so they should be able to help but
essentially they're bicycle components so eBay has them very cheap.

As this is "experimental", I wonder if:

you can go with a totally different connector?, or

instead of using a bolt, drilling a hole down the center, and then
cutting a slot,

1. start with a length of threaded rod, correct diameter and thread size

2. spin a nut on each end just beyond the length required

3. use the nuts to hold the threaded rod in a vise

4. use a small dremel type tool to cut a slot in the rod to accept the
cable eliminating the need to center drill

Just wondering..............
