That's the recipe I've been using for over 40 years out of our (very old) Australian PWMU cookery book. Alas, the book was rebound and now we can't find it but I did the important thing and copied the recipe before the book was lost. One year I bought a pudding and the uproar from the family wasn't worth another try to deceive them.

Happy Christmas everyone from Cool Adelaide but Christmas Day promises to be around 34C. They have had snow in Victoria though.
