Brenda makes a good point, for those making a lace square and planning on getting fabric to fit it. However, if you make straight lace and gather the corners (the only way (I've bothered to make hankies), pre-made handkerchiefs are nice. You make the lace, attach it, and you're done. You don't have to then cut the fabric and hem it (something I find tedious). Robin P.
