I haven't heard anything from Laszlo. I'd be surprised if there would be any official response. It seems like there is still a number of people using OpenLaszlo, and some more with general interest in the technology. OpenLaszlo is still mentioned on the IBM Websphere Commerce edition website: goo.gl/qT6iu "WebSphere Commerce features compiling OpenLaszlo applications, including an editor for OpenLaszlo files and a compilation process." If each of us would reach out to their OpenLaszlo network, to find out who'd be interested in working on or contributing to OpenLaszlo hosted at Github (maybe even under a new name), that might helpful. Once we have identified a circle of community members interested in the project, we could come up with an agenda for an online meeting to discuss the next steps.
