I'm in the same boat. I have a lot of (paying) work and other open source projects I contribute to. Learning the internals of GTK2 and as always getting lost in the LCL widgetset backend, it's like looking for a needle in a very big haystack. Even for the simplest bugs. At which point I give up on GTK2 and move back to GTK1 where things normally work better (for me).
