Problem: we make a lot more than just gate receipts. Tv money, licensing, 
sponsorship. All that stuff. Where's all that money Terry? We are going to 
replace decent young players who formed the core of the team SG is trying to 
build and who have improved consistently as a group over the last few seasons, 
with neverhasbeens and loanees. That is not how you build a team to compete at 
the highest level. The club will never progress on the cheap - it's not 
possible. Meanwhile season ticket prices rise inexorably to gargantuan levels 
and we all trot along like sheep. Say what you want about the scousers - least 
they don't put up with this sh!t.

I'm am not arguing for spend spend spend, just sustainable investment in the 
team and not White elephant radio stations, conference centres and beeston fine 
dining.
