Ron: As long as you upload your new GEDCOM to the same site (whether RootsWeb or Ancestry) and use the original password, the new data will overwrite the old.

I appreciate the problem with updates, though. Years ago I wrote to them asking if I could just load another GEDCOM on top of the one that was there, I did not get a proper answer and still do not know!
