Please, Bill, resist the temptation just to fit in with the American 4 field
convention, which has little to do with the rest of the world. I have always
resisted the temptation to record locations incorrectly just so that they fit
in with this artificial simplification not designed for us. Indeed, I have
written blogs advising those who do not understand British conventions just how
to enter them.

Rarely do I need to use the geo-locator, and when I do I add UK at the end, I
delete it as soon as I have finished. The mapping works fine when using our
convention, but better if the street is included and uses the Bing mapping
index. I have also found it much better to set the Location List to read from
right to left when street names are included (Master List>Location>Sort - and
also check the box on the left of the Sort button.

  Thankyou Elizabeth -

I will try your suggestion and put Scotland in as a State with United
Kingdom as the Country and see if the Towns are then recognised.

I dont think my Grandad would be impressed with Scotland being demoted from
Country to State - but that can be our secret .....

  Bill
