Joy, Whilst I am English, and know the Chapman codes, I do not use them when publishing locations, mainly because they mean nothing to the rest of the world, and frequently the non-genealogy aware British either. As Mike said in another post relating to "OH" (Ohio, and not the chemical symbol for alcohol) it is better to use the full name when puiblishing, so that it is comprehensible to all. BTW, Mike I prefer "County Durham" to "Durham", if only because I don't like Durham, Durham, England!
