I am not sure they know any more than we do. My problem probably stemmed from my ISP starting to filter my LUG EMails, so I got no response when I tried to subscribe. The LUG program figured something was wrong, so it just blackballed my address. It took the administrator to get my subscription correct on both LUG and LFS lists. I doubt the LUG program alerted the administrator.
