Hi Larry, Just a comment on a few of your questions.
1. Use Backup. Using GEDCom will put your Source Writer back to Basic format. Backup also includes ancillary files. Relationships, IGI search results, Clipboard (To-do, source, etc.), Focus Group settings file and FamilySearch link file. All those will be lost in a GEDCom. 3. Never give anyone your username/password. Each login is unique and is to be kept between you and FamilySearch ! Everyone that uses nFS needs their own. They need to be LDS. If they are not, then they cannot use nFS. If they are, they can get their own username/password from their Priesthood Leader in their ward. That rule is Not to be broken. Have a good day, Tim R.
