Sherry, I also had a data not sticking problem which I thought was down to using RAID0 [ticket 200-15E628BF-B368] but have since found this not to be the case. (see attached email) In Carl's case, had he assigned a source to the events that "did not stick", he would have received a nulls error message and also one saying Master sources have been removed from events that no longer exist. I think the problems are related.
I reiterate that I have not had any problems with nulls or data loss since I have stopped using the Legacy-nFS Interface. It's a good idea to run another Check/Repair after you verify the items in this file. A Master Source was linked to an event that doesn't exist. The citation is being removed from this Master Source (Census 1881). When adding children to parents and adding birth date / location and a residence event tied to a Census Source. I switch back to the parents Family View and a number of the chidlren have lost these details. Check repair identifies null errors and removes sources tied to events that no longer exist. when I add them again it all seams OK. My worry is if other birth dates and events are also dissapearing. Note: This did not happen when using Legacy on 32bit Vista but has only started happening on Windows 7 64 bit. LongDescription: UserName:Alan Pereira Phone:044(1268-419150) EMail:[email protected]
