Sherry ... There is probably a setting that I can't figure out ...
In order to move the child highlight in Grid List, I need to click a child. While that does move the highlight it immediately moves that child to the Husband or Wife spot. Similarly, a single click on one of the parents moves the Parents to the Husband and Wife spots. And single clicking the Husband (or Wife) opens "it" for editing. Is there a single vs double click setting I'm missing? Or, how do you move the highlight? C.G. I scan the list for what I want before selecting it. If I need to read something in the row that's highlighted, I just move the highlight one row below or above the row I need to read. I know this won't work in the scrolling list if you have only one child. However, in the scrolling list, aren't you seeing the highlighted child in white? I tried several color schemes and they're all changed from blue or red to white when highlighted. Which color scheme are you using? (I find Brown Gradient easiest on my eyes) Sincerely, Sherry Technical Support Legacy Family Tree On Tue, Dec 17, 2013 at 6:03 AM, 2marion wimps <2wi...@gmail.com> wrote: > I have hunted high and low for this but have to admit I am stumped. > > Under the Family View the children are fine (viewed in the Scrolling > List) - but the highlight on the first child is blue and makes reading > the text underneath difficult - especially if the child is a female > and the text is red for female. > > I have made several alterations but still cannot find anything to > change this colour - does anyone else have this colour or managed to change > it? > Please > > Marion > Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
