Sherry,
I have gone to the Brown Gradient Colours now to see if it makes a
difference (I had my own colours in place as I had set them up for 7.5) but
in grid view the blue highlight on the first child is still red and does
not change to white.

There is no highlight by using and of the columns view or the best fit view
but I like the information on the grid view. Also you cannot scroll with
the mouse on this view unless you go to the Mother, then the Father, then
back to the Mother - and then the mouse scroll works (I realise I can use
the scroll bar on the right hand side but the mouse is an automation
reaction!)

If I go to the two, three or best fit view and right click on a child the
highlight colour is bright blue and the writing underneath is still red. I
set the colours for text males as blue and females as red with Unknown as
black - I assume this would not have anything to do with it

At the moment I am on .364 - the later build looked as though it was mainly
concerning the geo basis but I can try that build if you think it will make
any difference.

Also the highlight is still there on the Potential Problems screen as well.

(As an aside I also miss the two click - it is probably force of habit but
everything on my computer has my brain trained to double click to open) to
my mind it is a time saving issue more than anything else (albeit will be
argued by some that the time taken to do two clicks to edit someone from
the child list is minimal it is obvious that others are also finding it
frustrating. Do you think that it could ever be brought back?

Regards,

Marion
