I have also encountered this problem.  Just entering a source or modifying a 
source in the same manner as always will sometimes create the new source 
immediately and sometimes you have to exit and re-enter the master source list 
for it to appear.

I have also noticed that when you enter a new person then select index view 
that new person is not visible.  You have to go to file maintenance and select 
one of the choices.  You do not have to run it, just exit and the person 
appears.

A minor inconvenience that I expect will be fixed in due time.
