Yes it's a problem.
But it's not an easy problem to reproduce for some and although I meet it 
regularly, when I test by following the same steps, it invariably doesn't 
happen. Something elusive going on.
Which is why Brian is still asking for steps I think.

One way to force the new source to show without backing out of the Master 
Source screen is to check one of the Show Only boxes.
