I was listening to Tony Snow this morning and he asked a caller who
called to complain that many immigrants have broke the law by entering
the U.S. illegally if he has ever drove over the speed limit. Snow
stated something to the effect that a law that has not been enforced
has become ineffective. He compared the immigration laws to laws
against going over the speed limit. I think that was a good comparison.
