I would say that Paul is right, except that Iraqi freedom is worth as many
American lives as Americans who are willing to give their lives for it, and
as many American dollars as are owned by Americans willing to pay for it.

  Not only would it not be worth 1 American life to to provide Iraq with
  freedom, voting, human rights, etc.  It wouldn't be worth 1 American
  tax dollar either.

  That's not to say they shouldn't have freedom, just that it's not our
  responsibility to win freedom for anyone but ourselves.  Freedom is to
  be won by those who would have it.
