Sure, I can answer honestly. With THIS corrupt bunch in power, I'd say anything is possible. Realistically, it is up to your Congressmen and Senators. You want to control what hte government does in your name? Get on the horn. Get involved. Take action. Or, whine and cry and bemoan the fact that you are legally obliged to sit back and get nothing done. That treaty will stand until Bush gets around to disolving it. Until then, all you can do is cry me a river, cry over spilled milk, cry sour grapes. Period. As for selling away all your rights, you have ALREADY lost your rights to privacy, protection against illegal wiretaps, free speech and protection against illegal seach and seizures. Did you make a peep??? I think not. Bush has wiped his butt with that lil' document called the Constitution, and I'd expect he will just keep on going till he is stopped. He already has been granted authority to declare Martial Law without having to consult Congress, thus suspending Government. He has been given the authority to deploy Federal troops and command them above the State Governors, thus enforsing Martial Law, and he has the databases on who are the 'troublemakers'. Halliburten is building the prisons in the southwest for 'illegal alians' aka you and me, so there is someplace to put those arrested, and Congress ordered a 1.2 billion dollar plan to be developed to deploy federal troops in the event 'bird flu' strikes...oh, that plan works fine too for 'civil disorder. So your question; you may well be fucked my friend, just like me. You are worried about the Ute receiving $400 a person? You got bigger problems than that I am afraid.
Now I have one for you.... You say... > I don't have any problem with land that is owned by the public being > turned > over to the Ute, assuming the can make claim to it. I think the answer would be very entertaining. land is On 6/28/06, Cory Nott <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > <<And what is especially funny is, I do not hear *YOU* complaining about > ALL > THE THINGS I LISTED and *SOOOO many more!*>> > > Then you haven't been listening very well.
