I don't have any CF devices, the best I could manage is a 128MB Memory 
Stick which I just happen to have a drive built into my Sony DVD/CDRW. 
But of course transfer rates of Memory Sticks are fairly pathetic for 
what we need . . . but it did 119MB of data in 6.5 minutes. Definately 
not good enough.

If I can persuade my brother to let me borrow his new Zen on Thursday, 
I could run a test against that with about 5GB of data. That should 
give us all a bit of a better idea of how things go.

I think my MS drive made about 18MB/min . . .

I'll get my hands on my brother's Zen and see what I can get it to do . 
. . results won't be till sunday though!
