Weird. Have you tried the binary packages by the build service? Just to
check that it would work for you in general?

newest version is at http://hg.linux-ha.org/dev/archive/tip.tar.bz2

You're missing some pre-requisites. This is looking quite bad; have you
used "ConfigureMe make"?
