Weird. Have you tried the binary packages by the build service? Just to
check that it would work for you in general?

I'm afraid I am not sure what you mean by "build service" (sorry).

I went to the second link but I am afraid I couldn't see where to get the newer/est version to download. I just tried compiling the version here:

newest version is at http://hg.linux-ha.org/dev/archive/tip.tar.bz2

I will try that as soon as the OS reinstalls are done. I want to try each version on a clean OS.

raexeclsb.c:47:29: error: libxml/entities.h: No such file or directory
cc1: warnings being treated as errors
raexeclsb.c: In function 'get_resource_meta':
raexeclsb.c:522: warning: implicit declaration of function 'xmlEncodeEntitiesReentrant'

You're missing some pre-requisites. This is looking quite bad; have you
used "ConfigureMe make"?

'./ConfugureMe make' was what threw those errors. Andrew thinks it's the libxml2-devel package that is missing, so I will be sure to install that first.

As frustrated as I am, I really appreciate everyone's help. I am very reluctant to give up on this! :)
