As for monitors, it doesn't really matter whether it comes up in the list of
monitors or not. What you should do is to select "unlisted monitor" and then
manually enter the sync rates (these will be available in your monitor's
users' manual).

Regarding this card, go through the archives of this list. You will find many
techniques posted here to get this card reasonably working.

Well, RHL either detects a network card, or offers a list for you to choose
from. Most PCI cards are detected. If it is not detected, then it might be
because the card is ISA. ISA cards run on the ne.o driver, and you will have
to specify IO address and IRQ in your conf.modules file. IRQ can occassionally
be found out while the PC is booting (the BIOS comes up with a line thats says
"network controller" and its IRQ). As for IO address, you will have to try
various addresses. Start at 0x220 and go on till 0x340 - you will succeed
somewhere.

Use the poweroff command. Or halt -p.

You can use wvdialconf to detect and initialize the modem, and wvdial to dial
to your ISP. No knowledge of uucp, though. man uucp might help you.
