NIC _usually_, gives router-less IP connectivity. What they provide is an
on-board card that goes directly to the KU band VSAT. Unfortunately Linux
does not support this card and NIC users are *forced* to use Windows (for
which NIC provides drivers). I have on several occasions requested NIC to
stop this practice since it forces users to use things like WinProxy to
make maximum use of NIC service. On the other hand, I have also requested
the manufacturers of the card to give specs so that we could develop Linux
drivers for the same. Both have not responded.

I know that this is an inapproprite forum to raise this, but.....
