The D-Link 530TX card is a reasonably good NIC card and who said that this
does not work with GNU/Linux ? The chip set used is the Davicom DM9101F
and the equivalent module to look out for is via-rhine. The card is a PCI
one and is detected automatically in kernels 2.2.x and 2.3.x. The performance
of this card is stable and excellent data throughputs are obtained. The Davicom
transreceiver chip is a dynamo of a work horse !!

Please add this line in UR /etc/conf.modules or /etc/modules.conf
'alias eth0 via-rhine'. Do not pass options as this a PnP card 'coz the base
address and irq is set automatically.
