@400MHz, with an intel 810 motherboard. In fact I subscribed to this list
only when I was trying to get my machine give me some decent performance
in case of HDD.
Anyway, in my case my disk *consistenly* gives me 19+MB/s with
hdparm -c1 -d1.
I don't think whether its a cause for concern, as a *lot* depends
on the IDE interface on your mobo.
Do one thing, when you run hdparm -tT, monitor the CPU usage with
top/panel_applets. If the disk is being used as UDMA, this should be
pretty low - 1-4%.
