Hi,
Has anyone done Linux's Kernel Recompiling for his/her machine? Does it
gives any performance boost like speed in application execution and/or
faster boot loading time? I am not feeling very confident about recompiling

If you could give me a nod and show me the pitfalls involved in it
(recompiling), I will be thanful to you.
