Hi Riawaan ;
       
    I can says recompiling the kernel is improve the
performance boots. On the other hand it may degrade
the perfomance if you loaded more modules into the
kernel .     
     Please check the  power of CPU that you have  and
plan what modules do you intend to enanble or disable
before recompiling the kernel .
