Hi Rizwan,

I have recompiled the latest kernel given by PCQ 2.2.16-3 on SuSE. This is my home
machine. I have not got much performance gain by this though I selected only those
modules required for my home PC.

However selecting more modules should not increase the size of kernel unless modules
are compiled in the kernel isn't it. Mostly modules are loaded from /etc/conf.modules.

Earlier I had compiled 2.2.14-5.0 kernel on SuSE. Not much performance gain.
