Yes DELTA has to be the primary MX

it would make DELTA as primary ..ie a lower MX no is the primary ...
Since the existing MTA is almost a worn out setup we would like to remove it
..
But for testing can i add DELTA say for 30 min on my system add some 5 users
from my domain send mails and recieve mails for them and see if it 's
working . Then revert back to the same alpha .during this time i can stop
my netscape MTA. on alpha.
Then may be slowly some day next month when the financial period is over i
can switch over the whole system..
that would be fine ..would not effect any thing ...
i> edit db.ecom.com make DELTA primary MX
ii> stop Netscape MTA on alpha .
iii>restart named
iv>transfer some user to DELTA
v>test DELTA
vi>Revret back to alpha within 1 hr or so ...
What do u say
any comments suggestions problems that u percieve
