Same way today my IE is coming up with javascript errors on windows update page.
Also in the same way where Word 2K is 10 times slower after installing W2K
SP1?...-)
Fine, I manged to hang up mandrake 3 times, due to X all the times, and forced
reboot. I haven't done this for W2K/NT for last several months, but it came up
faster than it takes for word to open a 100K document....
I was about to believe that M$ finally produced something that can qualify as
stable desktop OS... but alas... they goofed up again...
Shridhar
P.S. Never try to read physically damaged CDs from konqueror. You may be
emabarrassed to reboot. Make it thr. console. It doesn't hang....(I couldn't do
it reproducibly so didn't log a bug.. but still it's an advice...)
