I just scared my self!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my god!!! I'm scared

I was on IRC chatting away when I got to wondering and decided to see if I could
ping my self.

So I typed in my assigned address 08foo-worldfoo-foobar-89

and I got a response. Thats ok, thats to be expected. 

Than I decided to do an nslookup

I GOT A RESPONSE!!

I received an IP address.

I could also TELNET INTO MY MACHINE!!!!

And into my sendmail port 

HOW CAN I STOP THESE SERVICES FROM RUNNING?

Can I deny anyone from the out side (not sitting at the computer) from getting
into my machine?

I don't want just anyone poking around in my machine.
