Weird, I know, but I had the same problems with my Banshee card. Turned
out (in my case) it was nothing to do with the server. I just deleted my
~/.gnome* & ~/.enlightenment directory's and it fixed it. This was after
upgrading from RH5.2 to RH6.0

Worth a shot...
