If MS sold an application that A) ran on linux, and B) I thought I had a use for it I would buy it.
If I was going to rely on eternal access to the data, then an open file format would determine B). eg If MS sold a version of Office that ran on linux and saved data in an open format, I might buy it. I've considered the codeweaver crossover thingy. yuri
