Codeweavers Crossover Plugin and Crossover Office are just brilliant. One of the best investments I've made. As good as Star Office is getting, I still find need to use Word, Excel and Publisher to deal with clients now and then and Crossover Plugin / Office makes it easy. I haven't run VMware for two months. There's a new version of Crossover Plugin and Crossover Office just released (v1.3.1) and the stability has improved immensely. In fact, I'm having trouble thinking of the last time Word crashed... By the way, in case anyone wants a copy of Star Office for USD $10... If you download and install the Ximian Red Carpet installer (www.ximian.com) and sign up for their premium service at USD $10 / month, you can download Star Office for free. There's no minimum service length, so you can stop using the premium service immediately. Hence, Star Office for USD $10. A bit fiddly, but well worth the effort of installing Red Carpet, even if just temporarily. -- Phill Coxon <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
