Not for me, the existing ones runing on Linux are good enough for me.
The LyX and TeX combo produces much nicer documents anyway.

The bought codeweaver thing for allowing netscape plugins to work in the 
browsers works well, and imho is pretty good value for money.

I can't comment on the office one.
