Hi Brad,

Thanks for your response...

I'm not a c programmer. I gave up on c about 15 years ago in favour of
something that would just get the screen to do what I wanted it to with less
programming time... hence why script based VB was such a winner IMHO.

I'm not even looking for a complete 'single solution'...

I'd just like to see something as simple as an interactive debugger for PHP
and scripts.

I often wonder if open source developers have actually seen the full power
of MS development enviornments.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to step over to more open source programming.
However I find it very frustrating to pick up something like PHP over ASP
and VB Script when I can't get my head around it and can't find something as
basic as an interactive debugger.

I had a look at that link and couldn't make head or tail out of it from the
point of view of finding what I wanted.

It seemed to assume that I already knew about a whole lot of stuff that I
just don't.

Again, thanks for your help and feed back... please don't think that I'm
dissing your efforts, I'm not. I'm simply trying to find the right tools
for the job and what I've seen so far seems very frustrating.

Cheers Don
