I'm not a c programmer. It seemed to assume that I already knew about a whole lot of stuff that I just don't. Again, thanks for your help and feed back... please don't think that I'm dissing your efforts, I'm not. I'm simply trying to find the right tools for the job and what I've seen so far seems very frustrating. Cheers Don
