Yes, we have had obnoxious people on the list. In real life, when you meet an obnoxious person, you walk away. On the net, we do something different - we flame them. Thus, my question was a request for someoneIMHO, the reason people get flamed is because you _can't_ walk away from obnoxious people on lists, not if you want to stay on the list yourself. So the real life equivalent would be something along the lines of being stuck in the room with an idiot. Normally I personally just don't interact with them. But if they manage to still be obnoxious without my interaction, then yes I certainly do tell them where to go.

I think that in real life we do flame people when the situation gets extreme enough. I also think that on the net we happen to flame people a lot more quickly than in real life.
